Protesters Call For China President Xi To Resign




Protests against harsh COVID restrictions have spread across China, including Beijing, with some protesters calling for President Xi Jinping to resign.


Citizens on Sunday took to the streets and university campuses, venting their anger and frustrations on local officials and the Communist Party.


There was heavy police presence in some areas where huge crowds gathered in Shanghai, after protesters at one of the locations on Saturday called for President Xi Jinping to step down, a level of national dissent unheard of since he took power a decade ago.

Driver Chop Off Vehicle Inspection Officer’s Ear Over Car Particular

  A yet-to-identified Sienna car driver has reportedly bitten the ear of a Vehicle Inspection Officer (VIO) identified as Papu Prosper. The incident occurred during a heated argument between the officer and the driver along Eagle Roundabout by Federal Government College, Warri, Delta State.
