The judge presiding over Donald Trump’s criminal trial in Manhattan held him in contempt, fining the former president $9,000 for repeatedly violating a gag order and warning that he could go to jail if he kept attacking witnesses and jurors.
Prosecutors have alerted the judge, Juan Merchan, to four new potential violations, which will be discussed at another hearing on Thursday morning.
