OOPA Seeks Stronger Collaboration With INEC Ahead Of Osun 2026 Guber Election

  As the August 15 Osun governorship election draws near the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, Resident Electoral Commissioner for Osun State, Mrs Oluwatoyin Babalola has assured that Commission would offer full cooperation to media practitioners. Mrs Babalola also assured that the August 15 governorship election in the state will be credible, free, inclusive and transparent. 4th Elere Omo Festival: Consider Ile-Ife As Your Own Pilgrimage, Oba Eree Agbaye Tasks Traditional Believers

 

On the occasion of the fourth Elere


Omo festival, Oba Elere Agbaye has urged traditional believers to consider Ile-Ife, an ancient city of Osun State, as their own pilgrimage site. 




HRM Oba Ganiyu said: “Those who are fortunate enough to attend at least 10 consecutive annual festivals  in their life’s journey will be richly blessed by the Almighty.” 



God himself said he created us not for ordinary purposes but for specific purposes. You should understand the purpose of your creation before participating in both the culture night and the festival scheduled for June 29th and 30th, 2024. In his remarks, he urged ISESE followers to choose the path they believe is best calling on God rather than greed. According to him, "look carefully at yourself  before you know how to run the race of life," he added. 


"One dog is not strong enough to secure two houses," he said, urging followers to be careful of their callings. People today do not ask the Creator what their destiny is. They see others standing out and starting to slander, forgetting that such a person was appointed by the Almighty. One must accept one's destiny to enjoy life, he concluded.

Assassination Attempt: Police can’t deny what’s on their desk, says Amotekun boss

Driver Chop Off Vehicle Inspection Officer’s Ear Over Car Particular

  A yet-to-identified Sienna car driver has reportedly bitten the ear of a Vehicle Inspection Officer (VIO) identified as Papu Prosper. The incident occurred during a heated argument between the officer and the driver along Eagle Roundabout by Federal Government College, Warri, Delta State.
