BREAKING: From Campaign Donor to ‘Kill Me or Pay Me’: Man Reviews APC Investment Balance Sheet

In what appears to be Nigeria’s most dramatic “return on investment” complaint yet, a man on Thursday stormed the All Progressives Congress (APC) national secretariat in Abuja with a message as blunt as it was unsettling: reward me or kill me. The protest, captured in a now-viral video, shows the visibly distressed man holding a placard and demanding recognition for what he described as his personal sacrifices during the party’s 2023 campaign. According to him, loyalty was not just emotional, it was financial, physical, and, ultimately, total. In a country where political support often comes with expectations, some spoken, many implied the man’s outcry reads like a tragic audit of misplaced trust. His claim that he sold his house to fund campaign efforts has not been independently verified, but the symbolism is hard to ignore: a citizen liquidating stability in exchange for promised political dividends. Observers at the scene watched as the protester oscillated between anger and ...

BUDGET: Give Yourself For Services As Enshrined In Constitution, Nigerians Are Tired Of Feeding Politicians - Ezendigbo

Looking at the way our Budget is made, I think that our Government does not love our Country. Neither does our senators and National Assembly members. They do not have the feeling to nurture our children in this Country.

Imagine Six (6) billion in salaries alone. Not in administrative costs and we say that we are a poor Country. The median age in this Country is nineteen years old. We should consider the life and livelihood of our children first.

The Founder of Better Nigeria for Better People, and the Presidential Aspirant in the last general elections, Chief CBN Onwuasoanya Ezendigbo, revealed in a communique to the Stakeholders conference.

According to the veteran leader, he pleaded:

"You should be investing in education and in health rather than paying yourselves and feeding yourselves out of the poor people of this Country. Starting with the National Assembly; to see the salary of the Hon. Speaker increased from Six hundred and fifty eight thousand (658,000) to one million five hundred and sixty (1,000,560).

I feel ashamed that you do not know the meaning of a constituency representation of a Honourable Member and what it takes to be a Law Maker."

"You should give yourself for service.

You did not give yourself for the poor people to feed you and your family. It didn't even end at that alone. I am embarrassed that you are only interested in sharing the National Cake and milking the Nation's resources dry in the name of budgeting.

Through all kinds of unimaginable allowances you pay to yourself; residential allowance, recess allowance, holiday allowance, monthly new vehicle allowance, maintenance allowance, newspaper allowance, wardrobe allowance, furniture allowance, feeding allowance, etc."

"For goodness sake, you took an oath to serve and to give back to the society not to enrich yourself. Even if you go to the Constitution which you made it says that you should not deliberately enrich yourselves and increasing your salaries is deliberately enriching yourselves and that is an embarrassment.

You offered yourselves for for service. You are not appointed. You were elected."

"If you go to the Office of the President. You will see new ICT units.

Why would the President need another ICT. Why would His Excellency want sixteenth (16) advisers, how many Ministers does he have in addition to the new Ministries. If the President is saying that the Ministers are not good enough, implying that his Ministers are not good, let him sack them and appoint new advisers.

The Ministers according to our Constitution should be competent enough to advise him on any policy under their respective Ministries.

But as a poor Country we can not be paying his Ministers and be paying his advisers and also be paying deputy advisers."

"We are a poor Country. Instead of thinking of yourselves think of the poor masses of the Country. Six (6) billion in emoluments alone!

Little wonder, when a politician is appointed as a Minister; before two months he marries a new wife, buy expensive luxury cars and homes abroad at the expense of his Country. You should hide your Face in shame.

BREAKING: Esa-Oke Youths Reunite as Survivors, Caution Pelumi against revisionism

....we’re not your campaign slogan Once upon a glorious, chaotic 2017, practically every able-bodied youth in Esa-Oke held honorary title in the land: Personal Assistant to Barrister Pelumi Olajengbesi. No interviews. No pay. Just passion, blind loyalty, and the stamina to chase him from one campaign ground to the next like a political body double. From Comrade Mainframe to Comrade Swiss, from Yinka Oba to the humble football boys who carried cones like national flags, we were there. We were the movement. Until, of course. Now in 2025, Barrister Pelumi, clearly inspired by a Netflix political drama is on a media tour telling anyone who’ll listen that he "settled everyone who worked for him." Settled who, please? Maybe in his dreams or in the metaverse. In the real world, the story’s a bit different. Those of us from Obokun, who hustled day and night, got exactly zero: no thank you, no handshake. Take Sami, now a former Ward 7 councillor, no thanks from Pelumi. Folusho? Aregbe...

Assassination Attempt: Police can’t deny what’s on their desk, says Amotekun boss

The Corps Commander of the Osun Amotekun Corps , High Chief Dr Hon. Adekunle Isaac Omoyele , who is currently receiving treatment at an undisclosed hospital following an attempted assassination on his life on Monday, has strongly refuted the claims made by the Osun State Police Spokeperson regarding the incident. Reacting to the statement by the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), who claimed that investigations had not commenced because the Commander had not provided evidence of the attack, the Amotekun boss expressed deep disappointment, labeling the police response as insensitive and misleading. "It is shocking that a police spokesperson would say there is no evidence of an attack when the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Ota-Efun Division — the nearest jurisdiction to the incident — was immediately informed," the Commander said. "Officers from that division visited the scene the same night, assessed the damage, evacuated the vehicle, and advised me to seek ...

I Will Pay $10M If Nnamdi Kanu Curtail Insecurity, Ezendigbo Challenge FG, S' East Politicians

The Founder of the Better Nigeria For Better People, Chief. CBN Onwuasoanya Ezendigbo, has lambasted the former Governor of Anambra State and the Presidential candidate in the last general elections under the Labour Party, Peter Obi, for facilitating efforts towards Nnamdi Kanu's release from detention. Ezendigbo, in a statement released on Thursday said that, Nnamdi Kanu lack power to stop insecurity in Southeast Nigeria. According to the former Presidential Aspirant, "Let's have a road map for a 2-month cease-fire agreement to demonstrate that to release the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) would stop insecurity. He's just a political football fan for politicians, he said." "I am challenging both the federal government and Southeast politicians with $10M (Ten Million Dollars), they should tell Nnamdi Kanu if there will be no sit-at-home, no kidnapping in the region, that will give guarantee that he has control over insecurity in the southea...
