Trump Sends Troops as L.A. Boils Over Immigration Clashes"

Tensions ignited in Los Angeles as immigration protests escalated into confrontation. Following volatile clashes outside a downtown detention center, President Trump ordered the deployment of at least 2,000 National Guard troops to the city—300 of whom arrived yesterday, with hundreds more en route.

Law enforcement responded with tear gas and crowd-control rounds aimed at protesters rallying against recent immigration raids. The scenes marked a flashpoint in the ongoing national debate over immigration enforcement.

California Governor Gavin Newsom condemned the federal response, accusing the Trump administration of a “serious breach of state sovereignty.” Trump, invoking rarely used federal powers, bypassed Newsom’s consent in mobilizing the Guard.

“Any protest obstructing immigration officials is a form of rebellion,” the president declared.

Driver Chop Off Vehicle Inspection Officer’s Ear Over Car Particular

  A yet-to-identified Sienna car driver has reportedly bitten the ear of a Vehicle Inspection Officer (VIO) identified as Papu Prosper. The incident occurred during a heated argument between the officer and the driver along Eagle Roundabout by Federal Government College, Warri, Delta State.
