Wole Oke Celebrates Gbajabiamila at 63, Applauds His National Contributions




The Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Foreign Affairs, Hon. Busayo Oluwole Oke, has extended heartfelt birthday greetings to the Chief of Staff to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, on the occasion of his 63rd birthday.



Hon. Oke, who represents Ijesa North Federal Constituency in Osun State, described Gbajabiamila as a distinguished statesman and a steadfast pillar of progressive politics in Nigeria. He praised his former colleague and leader in the Green Chamber for his unwavering dedication to national service and the deepening of democratic ideals.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, Hon. Oke remarked:
 “Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila is more than a leader, he is a mentor, a bridge-builder, and a visionary strategist whose influence continues to shape the course of governance in our nation. His tenure as Speaker of the 9th House of Representatives laid a firm foundation for legislative excellence and national cohesion.”



Oke further lauded Gbajabiamila’s current role as Chief of Staff to the President, noting that his administrative expertise, political acumen, and deep institutional knowledge have significantly strengthened the Tinubu administration.
“Mr. Speaker, as many of us still fondly call him, has brought immense prestige to the legislative institution and remains a source of inspiration to those of us in public service,” he said.



The lawmaker also highlighted Gbajabiamila’s exemplary personal qualities, including humility, discipline, and an enduring commitment to the common good. He described the former Speaker’s political trajectory as a model for aspiring leaders who seek to lead with integrity and vision.
 “On behalf of the people of Ijesa North, I extend warm wishes for a joyful and fulfilling 63rd birthday. May God continue to bless you with wisdom, strength, and long life as you support the President in the mission of building a better Nigeria,” Hon. Oke concluded.
