A Turkish Air Force C-130 Hercules transport plane crashed near the Georgia-Azerbaijan border, killing all 20 military personnel on board. Witnesses said the aircraft appeared to break apart mid-air before hitting the ground in a remote mountainous area.

nd poor weather conditions. The wreckage was located several hours after the aircraft disappeared from radar.
Preliminary reports suggest a possible mechanical failure or cargo imbalance may have caused the accident, though officials have not ruled out other factors. Turkish Defense Minister Yasar Guler has ordered a full inquiry into the incident.
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan expressed condolences to the families of the victims and declared a national day of mourning. The crash marks one of the deadliest military aviation accidents in Turkey’s history.
