Chief Onwuasoanya Ezendigbo has expressed concern over what he described as growing inefficiencies in Nigeria's banking and telecommunications sectors, saying citizens deserve better services.
The presidential aspirant questioned the increasing dependence on Point-of-Sale (POS) transactions despite the country's established banking system, arguing that financial institutions should provide more reliable and accessible services.
He also criticized the quality of telecommunications services, alleging that poor network coverage often prevents successful communication despite subscribers paying for the services.
Ezendigbo maintained that service providers should be held accountable for delivering the quality of service promised to customers.
Beyond the economy, he pledged to run an open and accessible government by holding regular press briefings and maintaining direct engagement with Nigerians through visits to universities and other public institutions.
He said his vision is to build a government that listens to citizens, encourages transparency and focuses on practical solutions to Nigeria's economic and social challenges.
