  Governor Ademola Adeleke has expressed his determination to revive and complete the almost 12 year old Osun Airport project to exit Osun as the only state in the South West without an airport.   Hundreds of pagers blew up at the same time across Lebanon yesterday in an apparent operation against Hezbollah. Israel hid small amounts of explosives in the pagers, which were made in Taiwan, before they were imported into Lebanon, U.S. and other officials said. At 3:30 p.m. local time on Tuesday, the pagers received a message that appeared as though it was coming from Hezbollah’s leadership. Instead, the message activated the explosives. At least 11 people, including a young girl, were killed, and more than 2,700 were injured, the country’s health minister said. Iran’s ambassador to Lebanon was also wounded, and Hezbollah said that at least eight of its fighters had been killed. The Israeli military has not commented or claimed responsibility. Witnesses reported seeing smoke coming from people’s pockets, followed by small blasts. Videos showed people being knocked off their feet.  Governor Ademola Adeleke has decried the low physical and infrastructure development of Ile Ife, the cradle of Yoruba people, declaring that the source of Yoruba race deserves total upgrade in terms of flyovers, dualized roads and upgraded facilities befitting the cultural capital of Yoruba people. Hosting a delegation of Ife Development Board at the Government House on Monday, Governor Adeleke said the low developmental outlook of the ancient city is not acceptable to him and his team, hence the decision to commence massive upgrade starting with the Lagere flyover and the dualisation of the road leading to the palace. He justified his administration's decision to change the face of Ile Ife on the ground that the ancient city cannot continue to look like a village when global visitor comes calling, affirming that Ile Ife is too important to remain low rated in infra outlook. Babatunde disclosed that, the training will  take place at Plot 42, Alekuwodo Road, Beside Islahudeen Central Mosque, Alekuwodo, Osogbo Osun state.
