YOUTHOCRACY AND THE WAITING THRONE: When the Kingmaker Becomes a King, the Wise Youth Study the Walls of the Palace

When a kingmaker becomes a king, the entire rhythm of the realm changes. The man who once lifted others to power now sits upon the very throne he helped build. The circle of loyalty tightens; truth becomes measured; and those who once hailed his wisdom now whisper in careful tones.



But the wise youth do not rush to overthrow him,  they study the walls of the palace. They understand that every kingdom has its hourglass and that the wisdom of patience often outlives the noise of rebellion.



The tragedy of most African nations is not just that the old refuse to leave the stage; it is that the young have not learned the art of watching without wasting time. Power, in its rawest form, is not snatched, it is transferred through understanding, timing, and ideological readiness.



When the kingmaker becomes the king, sycophancy increases, and access narrows. The once-loud voices of reform grow faint. Yet within those walls, cracks begin to form, cracks through which light can enter. Those who truly believe in Youthocracy,  the governance of vision, innovation, and courage, must use that light to read the architecture of power.



True change does not begin with confrontation; it begins with comprehension. The youth who will inherit tomorrow’s throne must know how the corridors of today’s palace are built,  who opens which doors, who guards the gates, and what whispers move the crown.



If history has taught anything, it is that every throne trembles when time speaks. No king reigns forever. The wise do not rush the season; they prepare for it.



Youthocracy must therefore defer not its vision, but its manifestation. The throne is never vacant forever, and when the time comes for the king to descend, those who have studied the palace will not need to storm it,  they will simply walk in, for they already know the path.



Until then, let the king sit while he must. Let the youth keep their lamps burning. The dawn is near, and the watchers at the palace wall will be the first to see it.

Assassination Attempt: Police can’t deny what’s on their desk, says Amotekun boss
