  A victim has accused one Samuel Eriayo Adeniran of allegedly defrauding him of ₦50,000 after manipulating the outcome of a betting game and falsely declaring it a winning ticket. According to the victim, the suspect collected the sum under the guise of participating in a game but later edited the result to appear as though the ticket had won. He then allegedly withheld the funds and cut off communication. Narrating his experience, the victim said: “He collected ₦50,000 from me, edited the lost game, and declared it a winning ticket. Edun Reflects on Tenure, Thanks Tinubu After Exit as Finance Minister

 

Wale Edun has expressed gratitude to Bola Tinubu for the opportunity to serve in key capacities since the inception of the administration in May 2023.



In a statement released on Wednesday, Edun described his time in office as both an honour and a privilege, noting that he was proud to have contributed to the implementation of the administration’s economic agenda during a critical phase in the country’s development.

He highlighted the challenges faced and milestones achieved within the period, emphasizing his commitment to national service and economic reform.

Edun’s remarks come following his removal from office, marking the end of his tenure as finance minister.

Driver Chop Off Vehicle Inspection Officer’s Ear Over Car Particular

  A yet-to-identified Sienna car driver has reportedly bitten the ear of a Vehicle Inspection Officer (VIO) identified as Papu Prosper. The incident occurred during a heated argument between the officer and the driver along Eagle Roundabout by Federal Government College, Warri, Delta State.
