…Say Monarch's Claim Exposes Adeleke's Gross Incompetence, Loss Of Security Control Of Osun The leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osogbo, Osun State capital, on Sunday demanded probe into the alleged assassination attempt on the Ataoja of Osogbo, Oba Jimoh Oyetunji. The party leaders noted that the Ataoja's assassination claim has further exposed Governor Ademola Adeleke's gross incompetence, ineptitude and total loss of the control of the state security. They called on security agencies to beam their searchlight and investigate the alleged assassination attempt on the monarch as part of efforts to unraveling the circumstances surrounding the monarch’s claim. The party specifically urged the National Security Adviser (NSA), the Inspector-General of Police (IGP), the Department of State Services (DSS), the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) and other relevant security agencies to conduct a thorough investigation into the matter. Ogunbiyi Breaks Silence, Reaffirms Loyalty to APC, Rallies Support for Tinubu and AMBO

Dr. Akin Ogunbiyi, a leading aspirant for the Osun West Senatorial District under the All Progressives Congress (APC), has reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to the party, declaring that he would never act against its collective interest.

Speaking from his country home in Ile-Ogbo, Aiyedire Local Government Area, Ogunbiyi

described as unfortunate the actions of certain political elements who allegedly distorted a statement he made during a consultation with constituents.

He noted that many party members who initially misunderstood the situation later changed their stance after reviewing the full video of the event, emphasizing that his loyalty to the APC remains unquestionable.

Ogunbiyi stressed that the success of the party at the state level is directly tied to his own political aspirations, making it illogical for him to act in any way that could undermine its progress.

The aspirant also alleged that his rising political profile has unsettled opponents, prompting what he described as a calculated campaign of misinformation aimed at creating division between him and key party leaders, including President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Reiterating his dedication, Ogunbiyi pledged full support for President Tinubu’s re-election bid as well as the governorship ambition of Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji, insisting that no amount of political pressure would deter him from advancing the goals of the party.

He concluded by urging party members and supporters to reject divisive politics and remain focused on strengthening the APC ahead of upcoming elections.

BREAKING: Esa-Oke Youths Reunite as Survivors, Caution Pelumi against revisionism

....we’re not your campaign slogan Once upon a glorious, chaotic 2017, practically every able-bodied youth in Esa-Oke held honorary title in the land: Personal Assistant to Barrister Pelumi Olajengbesi. No interviews. No pay. Just passion, blind loyalty, and the stamina to chase him from one campaign ground to the next like a political body double. From Comrade Mainframe to Comrade Swiss, from Yinka Oba to the humble football boys who carried cones like national flags, we were there. We were the movement. Until, of course. Now in 2025, Barrister Pelumi, clearly inspired by a Netflix political drama is on a media tour telling anyone who’ll listen that he "settled everyone who worked for him." Settled who, please? Maybe in his dreams or in the metaverse. In the real world, the story’s a bit different. Those of us from Obokun, who hustled day and night, got exactly zero: no thank you, no handshake. Take Sami, now a former Ward 7 councillor, no thanks from Pelumi. Folusho? Aregbe...

Assassination Attempt: Police can’t deny what’s on their desk, says Amotekun boss

The Corps Commander of the Osun Amotekun Corps , High Chief Dr Hon. Adekunle Isaac Omoyele , who is currently receiving treatment at an undisclosed hospital following an attempted assassination on his life on Monday, has strongly refuted the claims made by the Osun State Police Spokeperson regarding the incident. Reacting to the statement by the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), who claimed that investigations had not commenced because the Commander had not provided evidence of the attack, the Amotekun boss expressed deep disappointment, labeling the police response as insensitive and misleading. "It is shocking that a police spokesperson would say there is no evidence of an attack when the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Ota-Efun Division — the nearest jurisdiction to the incident — was immediately informed," the Commander said. "Officers from that division visited the scene the same night, assessed the damage, evacuated the vehicle, and advised me to seek ...
