The Osun Online Publishers Association (OOPA) has announced plans to hold a media chat with Hon. Oluwole Oke, member of the House of Representatives representing Obokun/Oriade Federal Constituency, and the Director General of APC Campaign on Tuesday, June 2, 2026.
In a statement signed by the Chairman of OOPA, Abioye Tosin Lawrence, the association said the engagement will focus on governance, representation, and political accountability ahead of the Osun governorship election.
According to the statement, the media chat, themed “Exploring Governance, Representation and Political Accountability of Osun Election,” is aimed at deepening public discourse and providing a platform for political actors to engage the media and the public on key governance issues in the state.
The statement read in part, “The media chat is part of OOPA’s efforts to deepen public discourse and provide a platform for political actors to engage the media and the public on key governance issues affecting Osun State.”
It added that the session will feature interactive discussions where Hon. Oluwole Oke will address governance, representation, and accountability within the context of Osun politics.
Oluwole Oke, who represents Obokun/Oriade Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, is expected to speak on the APC’s governance outlook and issues of political accountability in the state.
The association added that the programme shows its commitment to promoting transparency, informed political engagement, and responsible journalism.
