Osun 2026: Davido's Imole Youth Campaign Committee Flags Off Grassroots Drive in Ede Ahead of Governorship Election

Committee members take oath of allegiance as campaign leaders urge massive voter mobilization, peaceful participation, and support for Governor Ademola Adeleke's re-election bid

Ahead of the August 15, 2026 governorship election in Osun State, the Ede Federal Constituency chapter of the Imole Youth Mobilization Campaign Committee has been inaugurated with a renewed call for intensive grassroots mobilization to bolster the re-election campaign of Governor Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke.

The inauguration ceremony, held at the Country Home in Ede, attracted party loyalists, youth leaders, and supporters who reaffirmed their commitment to delivering electoral victory for the Accord Party in the forthcoming governorship poll.

Representing the Chairman of the Imole Youth Campaign Council Committee, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, Hon. Kayode Isaac

urged the newly inaugurated committee members to take the campaign to every community by showcasing the achievements of Governor Adeleke's administration across Osun State.

He also called on party supporters to remain resolute in the face of alleged intimidation, emphasizing the need for peaceful conduct while protecting the integrity of the electoral process.

"They don't want us to come out and vote on election day, but we are determined to troop out, cast our votes, and emerge victorious. We will not allow fear to take over. We will not fight anyone, but we will remain vigilant and ensure every legitimate vote counts," he stated.

Also speaking, the Director of Public Communications of the Imole Youth Mobilization Campaign Committee, Hon. Oluwaseyi Olaitan,

charged members of the committee to intensify efforts at the grassroots by engaging eligible voters and promoting the administration's achievements.

According to him, sustained voter education, community engagement, and effective mobilization would play a decisive role in securing what he described as a convincing victory for Governor Adeleke in the August 15 governorship election.

The ceremony concluded with members of the Ede Federal Constituency Imole Youth Mobilization Campaign Committee taking a collective oath of allegiance, pledging loyalty, dedication, and commitment to the campaign's objectives as preparations intensify for the crucial governorship election.
