Osun Central 2027: It’s IBO’s Turn for Senate

As political permutations begin ahead of the 2027 general elections, concerned stakeholders from Ifelodun, Boripe, and Odo-Otin Federal Constituency, popularly known as IBO Federal Constituency, have called for equity, justice, and balance in the Osun Central Senatorial District ticket of the All Progressives Congress, APC. Findings reveal that since the return to democracy in 1999, Osogbo Federal Constituency has produced the late Senator Bayo Salami and the current APC National Secretary, Senator Dr. Ajibola Basiru. Ila Federal Constituency produced Senator Sola Adeyeye, who served for eight years, and currently has Senator Olubiyi Ajagunla. S.A. Student, Who Mistakenly Received $954,000 Gets 5 years In Prison For Theft

South African student, Sibongile Mani, who mistakenly received $954,000 (R14 million) was sentenced to 5 years in prison for theft.


She spent $55,816 out of the money on cigarettes, toys, alcohol and bedding.


It was sent to her by the National Student Financial Aid Scheme.


She appealed the 5-year sentence. Her lawyer pleaded for the sentence to be suspended.


Her appeal is still in court, and the sentence hasn't been suspended yet 


She was elected as a convocation committee Treasurer at her university in March 2023.

Assassination Attempt: Police can’t deny what’s on their desk, says Amotekun boss

  The Corps Commander of the Osun Amotekun Corps , High Chief Dr Hon. Driver Chop Off Vehicle Inspection Officer’s Ear Over Car Particular

  A yet-to-identified Sienna car driver has reportedly bitten the ear of a Vehicle Inspection Officer (VIO) identified as Papu Prosper. The incident occurred during a heated argument between the officer and the driver along Eagle Roundabout by Federal Government College, Warri, Delta State.
