The Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Aribisala Care Foundation, Barrister Abiodun Aribisala, an internationally acclaimed tax consultant and a leading figure in the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State, has reaffirmed his unwavering support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s economic reforms. He described the reforms as critical steps towards ensuring long-term national stability and economic prosperity.
As part of his continued efforts to cushion the effects of current economic challenges, Barrister Aribisala once again led a large-scale food distribution exercise for vulnerable residents of Ijebu Ijesa, in Oriade Local Government Area of Osun State. The initiative, which has become a regular intervention by the Aribisala Care Foundation, aims to bring relief to communities feeling the pinch of government policies intended for national economic recovery.
Speaking during the outreach, Barrister Aribisala noted that the Foundation has consistently reached out to residents, especially during critical periods like Easter. “Periodically, we take to the streets, engage with the people, and share food items with them. Easter is a season of reflection, sharing, caring, and thanksgiving, and this gesture is our own way of touching lives during this important time,” he said.
Also speaking at the event, a community leader, Chief Ade Ajibola, praised Barrister Aribisala’s initiative, describing it as a significant relief for many households. “Anybody who undertakes this kind of effort is doing a lot for the people. It’s not easy these days, and anyone who receives this food today will surely go home happy and pray for the benefactor,” Ajibola remarked.
Barrister Aribisala, while addressing journalists, emphasized the need for Nigerians to remain patient as the federal government continues to implement critical institutional and structural reforms. He explained that while economic reforms may initially present challenges, they are essential for the nation’s long-term development. “As an economist, I understand that structural reforms can introduce short-term hardships. However, with the policies now being pursued to stabilize macroeconomic fundamentals, I am confident that the country will soon witness remarkable economic transformation,” he stated.
The philanthropic lawyer also reassured the public of his commitment to sustaining such humanitarian efforts through the Aribisala Care Foundation. He stressed the importance of supporting vulnerable populations during challenging times and called on well-meaning individuals and organizations to join hands in alleviating hunger and hardship in communities.
