WARD 2 OBOKUN: PDP Back Door Wide Open as Wole Oke's Loyalist, Olaitan Olabode Jump Ship

Apparently, political GPS devices in Obokun & Oriade federal Constituency are still recalculating and they’re all pointing toward the ruling party. Over a month after Hon. Wole Oke announced his defection to the All Progressives Congress (APC), his loyalists are still checking their maps and jumping ship from the PDP.


The latest in the migration parade? Honorable Barrister Olaitan Olabode of Ward 2, Ada-Owode, Obokun Local Government. Once a sturdy PDP man, Olabode has now dusted his political boots and marched straight into APC territory.


For those who thought the defection wave would be a short drama with a neat closing scene, welcome to the extended version, possibly a whole season. It seems the Oke Signal still beams strong across Obokun/Oriade Federal Constituency, pulling in loyalists like moths to a well-positioned lantern.


Observers are now asking: If this is the aftermath of a single defection, what happens when campaign season truly begins? For now, the PDP may need to hire a locksmith, because the back door is wide open and the exits are still active.

Driver Chop Off Vehicle Inspection Officer’s Ear Over Car Particular

  A yet-to-identified Sienna car driver has reportedly bitten the ear of a Vehicle Inspection Officer (VIO) identified as Papu Prosper. The incident occurred during a heated argument between the officer and the driver along Eagle Roundabout by Federal Government College, Warri, Delta State.
