BREAKING: PDP Will Struggle for Party Agents, 500 Votes in Esa-oke, Others - APC Mocks

The All Progressives Congress (APC) loyalists has thrown a heavy jab at the opposition, claiming the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) will struggle to even secure party agents, let alone 500 votes in Esa-oke, and surrounding areas.

Speaking on the political strength of Rt. Hon. Oke, APC stalwarts described the PDP’s position as “embarrassingly thin,” saying the ruling party's grip on the grassroots is unshakable. “The PDP has lost touch with the people,” one APC loyalist said. “In many wards, they won’t just be outvoted, they may not even be represented.”

For years, Obokun and Oriade have been strongholds of progressive politics, powered by a loyal base of elites, professionals, youth, and artisans, all deeply aligned with APC values and leadership. This loyal following is not only intact but growing, as more defections from the PDP are expected in the lead-up to the election.

“Their problem isn’t just votes,” a party insider quipped. “It’s logistics. Who’s going to sit as their agent when half their structure has crossed over?”

Observers say the mood on the ground is clear: APC is poised to dominate, while the PDP may be forced to explain how a party that once had a foothold now struggles to form a team. “They’ll pay heavily at the polls,” the source added. “And Esa-Oke? Forget it. It’s Oke territory now.”

With momentum on their side, APC leaders believe the coming election will not just reinforce their dominance but humiliate a weakened opposition that may need more than hope to stay relevant
