The European Commission has proposed a fresh round of sanctions against Russia, targeting key sectors of its economy in response to continued aggression in Ukraine.
The new measures aim to tighten restrictions on Russian exports, limit access to dual-use technologies, and expand the list of sanctioned individuals and entities.
If approved by member states, this would mark the EU’s 14th sanctions package since the invasion began.
Brussels says the move is part of its ongoing strategy to weaken Russia’s war capabilities while signaling firm political resolve.
