Diplomatic sources have confirmed that Egypt is poised to lead a multinational stabilisation mission in Gaza under a United Nations-backed framework.
The mission will focus on security, humanitarian aid, and reconstruction following the devastating conflict between Israel and Hamas.
Countries including Turkey, Indonesia, and Azerbaijan are expected to contribute troops and logistics. The move is seen as Cairo’s bid to reassert its regional influence while promoting post-war stability.
