“Renewed Hope Ambassador Oluomo Sunday Akere Delivers Presidential Message to Residents: ‘Osun, Nigeria Will Be Better’”

The Osun State Ambassador of the Renewed Hope Agenda and former Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Oluomo Sunday Akere, on Tuesday, delivered a message of reassurance and optimism from the Presidency to the people of Osun State, urging residents not to lose faith in the nation’s future.

Akere made this known during an interview with journalists in Osogbo after featuring on a popular Yoruba podcast LÉRÒ T'ÈMI with Mukhtar Ajelogbon where he extended New Year goodwill to residents of the state, describing 2026 as a year of renewed possibilities and improved national fortunes.

According to him, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu appreciates the support of Nigerians and remains fully committed to repositioning the country economically, socially, politically, and in the area of security.

“As the Ambassador of Renewed Hope for Osun State,

the message of Mr President is to thank everybody for the support and to encourage us not to lose hope.

“The President and his government are determined to make the country a better place for us economically, socially, politically, and security-wise.”

Akere noted that signs of positive change are already becoming visible, particularly in Nigeria’s growing acceptance among global economic and political powers.

He disclosed that international partners are showing renewed interest in Nigeria, with economic powers expressing readiness to invest in businesses across the country.

“We can see that things are changing from what they used to be. World powers are eager to support us, economic partners are ready to invest, and industries that were once closed are gradually reviving,” he stated.

The Renewed Hope ambassador expressed confidence that 2026 would bring measurable improvements in living conditions for Nigerians, stressing that Osun State and the country at large would continue to experience progress in security, safety, and economic prosperity.

“This year, things will definitely get better. Osun State and Nigeria will continue to be blessed, enjoying improved security and economic growth,” Akere assured, Oluomo Akere concluded.
