 The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has officially released the final list of candidates contesting in the forthcoming Osun State Governorship Election 2026 scheduled for August 15, 2026.

According to the electoral body, the publication of the final list marks a critical stage in preparations for the highly anticipated election in Osun State. 

The list contains the names of candidates duly nominated by their respective political parties after the completion of the party primaries and the verification of submitted credentials
