A U.S. Marine veteran was arrested after interrupting a hearing at the United States Senate Armed Services Committee with an anti-war protest, drawing attention to growing public debate over U.S. involvement in overseas conflicts.
The protester, identified as Brian McGinnis, stood up during the session and began shouting that many Americans do not want to see their sons and daughters sent to fight in foreign wars.
