The attention of the leadership of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), Lagos State Chapter, has been drawn to a misleading and malicious publication currently circulating online under the title: “A Call For An Immediate Vote of No Confidence on the Failed Leadership of NDC Lagos.” Ordinarily, the party would not dignify baseless propaganda and politically motivated attacks with a response. However, in the interest of our members, aspirants, supporters, and the general public, it has become necessary to set the record straight and correct the false narratives deliberately being spread to create confusion and disunity within the party. For those of us who shared the same classroom walls and academic journey, this moment carries a deeper meaning. It reminds us that the values we learned together, integrity, responsibility, and mutual respect continue to guide us long after we left school.
As colleagues and members of the same alumni family, such actions strengthen trust among us and reinforce the spirit of unity that our alma mater represents.

In another development, Mr. Omotayo Oluwaseun briefly spoke about the election that brought the Publisher of OrionTimes into office as Chairman of the Osun Online Publishers. Upon hearing about the situation, he immediately contacted Mr. Oni Elijah, on providing adequate security.
This gesture reflects a deeper truth that the connections we built as students more than a decade ago continue to influence the kind of people we become and the support we offer one another in later years.
