SWANSEA, WALES – The Nigerian spirit is set to take centre stage in the United Kingdom as entertainment outfit Mykejay Entertainment announces the Nigerian Independence Fiesta 2026, a cultural and musical celebration aimed at uniting Africans and friends of Africa through music, culture and entertainment.
Scheduled for Friday, October 2, 2026, the event will hold at Savanna Bar & Nightclub, Swansea, Wales, from 10:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m., promising a vibrant atmosphere filled with Afrobeats, Amapiano, Dancehall, Hip-Hop and classic Nigerian sounds.
The fiesta which was described more than ordinary party, but designed to celebrate Nigeria's independence while showcasing the richness of African culture to a global audience.
The event will feature performances from live artists including Erinelle, Lexx and JC Lowko, alongside appearances by several professional DJs expected to keep attendees entertained throughout the night.
Popular hype men and masters of ceremony, including MC Kamara and MC Smiles, are also billed to energise the crowd and ensure a memorable experience for guests.
Attendees are required to present a valid means of identification at the venue. Gate fees have been fixed at £10 for ladies and £5 for general admission.
The fiesta is expected to attract members of the Nigerian diaspora, Africans from different backgrounds, and culture enthusiasts across Wales and neighbouring cities, creating an avenue for networking, cultural exchange and community bonding.
With the theme "Nigeria to the World," the event seeks to project a positive image of Nigeria through entertainment, highlighting the country's global influence in music, fashion and cultural expression.
As anticipation builds, organisers have urged interested participants to secure their plans early and prepare for what they describe as "not your regular event", but a celebration of heritage, unity and African excellence.
