   Osun State Independent Electoral Commission (OSSIEC) has inaugurated Verification Committee ahead of the February, 2025 local government election.  in the interest of conducting verification of aspirants This is coming after the political parties in the state have concluded their respective primary election for the forthcoming local government election. The verification committee is saddled with the verification of documents and credentials submitted by the nominated candidates for the 2025 Local Government Election in Osun State. In his remark, OSSIEC Chairman, Barr. Ashim Abioye, reaffirmed the commission's readiness to conduct free, fair, credible and acceptable election in the state.    The Osun Online Publishers Association (OOPA) set to hold Digital Media Training (#OOPADT 1.0) for members on Thursday, as announced in a statement by the Secretary, Adekale Babatunde, the association's seminar and training committee. Babatunde disclosed that, the training will  take place at Plot 42, Alekuwodo Road, Beside Islahudeen Central Mosque, Alekuwodo, Osogbo Osun state. The tech expert said the comprehensive training is designed to equip Online Publishers with the skills needed to pull through in the realm of digital world . Barring that, "The training will cover topics, including Media Entrepreneur, WordPress designing, Search Engine Optimization, Placing ad codes on WordPress Websites and how to set up Google Analytics & Google News. The President of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), Engr. Margaret Aina Oguntala (FNSE), has praised Osun State Governor, Sen. Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke, for utilizing local engineers to manage the state's massive infrastructure projects. Th project which is part of Governor Adeleke’s Multi Billion Naira infrastructure plan to open Osun for investment and improve the economy of the state. During her two-day working visit to Osun State, Oguntala inspected ongoing projects, including the Akoda, Ede Dual Carriage Way, and Flyover Bridge, she commended the governor for the warm welcome and described the projects as "massive and outstanding," noting that they will benefit the masses upon completion.
