As the August 15 Osun governorship election draws near the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, Resident Electoral Commissioner for Osun State, Mrs Oluwatoyin Babalola has assured that Commission would offer full cooperation to media practitioners. Mrs Babalola also assured that the August 15 governorship election in the state will be credible, free, inclusive and transparent. Osun State has received multiple awards in recognition of its leadership in climate change action and environmental sustainability. The honours were presented at the closing of the Pre-Africa Infrastructure, Climate Change and Investment Summit (AICIS-2025) Stakeholders Engagement Workshop held at the Western Sun Hotel, Ede. The three-day workshop, which ran from April 28 to 30, 2025, was convened in partnership with the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) and development stakeholders.
