Surveyor Ologun at 50: A Golden Legacy of Impact, Discipline, and Generosity ( VIDEO)

The atmosphere was filled with joy and gratitude as Surveyor M.S Ologun, a licensed practitioner in Nigeria, marked his 50th birthday surrounded by family, friends, former students, and colleagues in a grand celebration of life and legacy.

Speaking on his golden jubilee, the celebrant expressed deep appreciation for the gift of life and the presence of loved ones.

“It’s a golden jubilee, and it’s great seeing my family around me. I feel blessed,” Ologun shared, his voice brimming with gratitude.

Reflecting on his journey, Surveyor Ologun described it as a path lined with both challenges and triumphs.

“It’s a long story,” he said. “As a human being, you’ll face challenges, education, job search after school, but to the glory of God, I’m a practitioner today, and I’m okay.”

One of the striking moments at the event was the presence of his former students, many of whom have grown into professionals across different sectors. Their turnout was a testament to the far-reaching impact of Ologun’s mentorship over the years.

“As a lecturer, you meet people from all walks of life. You must care for them,” he noted. “I thank God I was used to develop people, and seeing them flourish makes my life feel fulfilled.”

Elijah Oni, a former student who hails from Efon Alaaye, praised Ologun for his fatherly role.

“Since I was a student, he’s always looked out for us. He made sure we were alright,” Elijah said. “He’s more than family to me. You can see how people are rallying around him. That speaks volumes about who he is.”

Another guest, a police officer, described the celebrant as a man of strong character and principles.

“He’s very disciplined. If someone like him can stay rooted in values, then it shows that integrity still matters,” he remarked. “As a uniformed officer, I’ve never regretted meeting him.”

Mrs. Ologun,

his wife, added a touch of humor and affection to the day.

“My husband is very prayerful and extremely disciplined,” she said with a smile, calling him affectionate names that drew laughter and cheers from the crowd.

“He’s my ATM and generous to the core.”

Also paying tribute was Ologun’s pastor, who highlighted his professional excellence and his spiritual commitment.

“He’s not only resourceful in his field but has also played a vital role in the work of God,” the pastor stated.

The event drew members of professional bodies, associates from across the country, and well-wishers who gathered to honor a man whose life continues to inspire and uplift others.

As a message to the younger generation, Surveyor Ologun offered these words:

“To those struggling, don’t relent. There will be challenges, but never give up.”
