Super Eagles Cruise to AFCON Semi-Final, Edge Algeria 2–0

The Super Eagles of Nigeria have advanced to the semi-finals of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) following a convincing 2–0 victory over Algeria.

Nigeria delivered a disciplined and confident performance, asserting dominance from the early stages of the encounter. Victor Osimhen opened the scoring, capitalising on Nigeria’s attacking pressure to give the Super Eagles a deserved lead.



The Algerians struggled to break through Nigeria’s well-organised defence, as the Super Eagles controlled possession and dictated the pace of the game. Adams later doubled Nigeria’s advantage with a composed finish, effectively sealing the contest and silencing Algerian hopes of a comeback.



Nigeria’s defensive unit remained solid throughout the match, denying Algeria clear scoring opportunities and ensuring a clean sheet at full time.

Driver Chop Off Vehicle Inspection Officer’s Ear Over Car Particular

  A yet-to-identified Sienna car driver has reportedly bitten the ear of a Vehicle Inspection Officer (VIO) identified as Papu Prosper. The incident occurred during a heated argument between the officer and the driver along Eagle Roundabout by Federal Government College, Warri, Delta State.
