BREAKING: From Campaign Donor to ‘Kill Me or Pay Me’: Man Reviews APC Investment Balance Sheet

In what appears to be Nigeria’s most dramatic “return on investment” complaint yet, a man on Thursday stormed the All Progressives Congress (APC) national secretariat in Abuja with a message as blunt as it was unsettling: reward me or kill me. The protest, captured in a now-viral video, shows the visibly distressed man holding a placard and demanding recognition for what he described as his personal sacrifices during the party’s 2023 campaign. According to him, loyalty was not just emotional, it was financial, physical, and, ultimately, total. In a country where political support often comes with expectations, some spoken, many implied the man’s outcry reads like a tragic audit of misplaced trust. His claim that he sold his house to fund campaign efforts has not been independently verified, but the symbolism is hard to ignore: a citizen liquidating stability in exchange for promised political dividends. Observers at the scene watched as the protester oscillated between anger and ...

Immigration Attaché in Spain, ACI Adigun, Enlightens Nigerians on the Importance of the New Passport System

The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) Attaché to Spain, Assistant Comptroller of Immigration (ACI) Ayotunde Adigun, on Wednesday delivered an informative webinar lecture to members of the Nigerian community in Spain, focusing on the significance and benefits of the newly introduced passport processing system by the Nigeria Immigration Service.

The virtual session, attended by several Nigerians residing across Spain, was titled “NIS Reform and Benefits to Nigerian Diasporans.” During the lecture, ACI Adigun provided a detailed overview of the ongoing reforms within the Nigeria Immigration Service, emphasizing the modernization of passport application, renewal, and collection processes aimed at improving service delivery for Nigerians both at home and abroad.

In his presentation, ACI Adigun explained that the new passport system is part of broader reforms designed to enhance efficiency, transparency, and convenience for Nigerians in the diaspora. He noted that the digitization of several procedures now allows applicants to complete significant parts of the process online, thereby reducing bureaucratic delays, minimizing physical visits, and improving turnaround time for passport issuance and renewal.

According to him, the reforms are intended to address long-standing challenges experienced by Nigerians abroad when applying for travel documents. He stressed that the improved system ensures a more seamless process for passport renewal and collection, particularly for Nigerians living in Spain and other parts of Europe.

ACI Adigun also encouraged members of the Nigerian community to familiarize themselves with the updated procedures and utilize the digital platforms provided by the Nigeria Immigration Service. He reaffirmed the commitment of the Service to continually improve its operations and maintain a high standard of service delivery for Nigerians worldwide.

Speaking with journalists from Madrid, Spain, Ambassador Adeayo Tella, Secretary General and APC Diaspora Committee Chairman, commended the efforts of ACI Adigun in transforming the passport renewal and collection process for Nigerians living in Spain. He noted that the improvements have significantly eased the difficulties previously encountered by members of the diaspora when seeking passport services.

Ambassador Tella also praised the leadership and policy direction of the Minister of Interior, Barrister Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, the Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Immigration Service, and the President of Nigeria, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for initiating reforms that are yielding tangible benefits for Nigerians abroad.

He emphasized that the current reforms align with the administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda, which seeks to strengthen institutions, improve public service delivery, and enhance the relationship between Nigeria and its citizens in the diaspora.

According to him, Nigerians living outside the country are already experiencing the positive impact of these initiatives, particularly in the area of passport processing and immigration services.

The webinar concluded with an interactive session where participants asked questions and received clarifications regarding the new passport system and other immigration-related services available to Nigerians residing in Spain.

The Nigeria Immigration Service continues to reiterate its commitment to providing efficient, transparent, and accessible services to Nigerians across the globe as part of its broader reform agenda.

BREAKING: Esa-Oke Youths Reunite as Survivors, Caution Pelumi against revisionism

....we’re not your campaign slogan Once upon a glorious, chaotic 2017, practically every able-bodied youth in Esa-Oke held honorary title in the land: Personal Assistant to Barrister Pelumi Olajengbesi. No interviews. No pay. Just passion, blind loyalty, and the stamina to chase him from one campaign ground to the next like a political body double. From Comrade Mainframe to Comrade Swiss, from Yinka Oba to the humble football boys who carried cones like national flags, we were there. We were the movement. Until, of course. Now in 2025, Barrister Pelumi, clearly inspired by a Netflix political drama is on a media tour telling anyone who’ll listen that he "settled everyone who worked for him." Settled who, please? Maybe in his dreams or in the metaverse. In the real world, the story’s a bit different. Those of us from Obokun, who hustled day and night, got exactly zero: no thank you, no handshake. Take Sami, now a former Ward 7 councillor, no thanks from Pelumi. Folusho? Aregbe...

The Corps Commander of the Osun Amotekun Corps , High Chief Dr Hon. Adekunle Isaac Omoyele , who is currently receiving treatment at an undisclosed hospital following an attempted assassination on his life on Monday, has strongly refuted the claims made by the Osun State Police Spokeperson regarding the incident. Reacting to the statement by the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), who claimed that investigations had not commenced because the Commander had not provided evidence of the attack, the Amotekun boss expressed deep disappointment, labeling the police response as insensitive and misleading. "It is shocking that a police spokesperson would say there is no evidence of an attack when the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Ota-Efun Division — the nearest jurisdiction to the incident — was immediately informed," the Commander said. "Officers from that division visited the scene the same night, assessed the damage, evacuated the vehicle, and advised me to seek ...
