IJEBU-JESA, Osun State – The spokesperson of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State, Kola Olabisi, has described the massive turnout at the party's campaign rally in Ijebu-Jesa as a clear indication of the growing popularity of the APC governorship candidate, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO), ahead of the August 15 governorship election.
Speaking during the campaign engagement on Friday, Olabisi said the large gathering demonstrated the unwavering commitment of APC members and supporters, stressing that those in attendance were loyal party faithful who voluntarily came out to identify with the party's governorship candidate.
According to him, the enthusiastic reception accorded to AMBO reflected the confidence many residents have in his leadership vision and their belief that he represents the future of Osun State.
He maintained that the atmosphere at the rally was marked by excitement and optimism, with supporters expressing confidence in the APC's chances at the forthcoming poll.
Drawing a comparison with the opposition's previous campaign outing in the area, Olabisi claimed that the turnout recorded by the APC surpassed that of its rivals, insisting that the crowd witnessed in Ijebu-Jesa was evidence of the party's growing grassroots acceptance across the state.
The APC spokesperson reaffirmed the party's resolve to continue selling its manifesto and engaging voters peacefully as campaigns intensify across Osun State.
