Renew Mind Centre CIC (RMC) is set to mark a decade of service, empowerment and community development with a two-day programme celebrating its 10th Anniversary in Swansea, United Kingdom.
The organisation, which has spent the last 10 years supporting young people, families and communities through wellbeing, resilience and empowerment initiatives, described the milestone as a celebration of "10 years of growing stronger together."
Speaking on the anniversary programme, a member of the Centre's administrative team, Mr. Gbenga Ajibade, said preparations have been completed for a series of activities aimed at reflecting on the organisation's achievements while strengthening partnerships for future growth.
Ajibade noted that the administrative team also includes Mariam N'Gossema, Christian N'Gosemma and Caro, who have contributed to the planning and coordination of the anniversary events.
According to him, the celebration will not only highlight the Centre's impact over the past decade but will also provide an opportunity to engage stakeholders and share the organisation's vision for the future.
The anniversary activities will begin on Friday, September 11, 2026, with a Community and Workshop Day scheduled to hold from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the UWTSD Waterfront Campus in Swansea.
The event will feature interactive workshops and community-focused activities designed to promote wellbeing, resilience, youth empowerment and stronger community engagement.
Activities will continue on Saturday, September 12, 2026, with a 10th Anniversary Gala and Celebration Evening starting at 6:00 p.m. at the Brangwyn Hall, Guildhall Road South, Swansea.
The gala is expected to attract stakeholders, development partners, supporters and community leaders who will gather to reflect on the Centre's journey, celebrate key achievements and recognise individuals and organisations that have played significant roles in its success over the years.
Ajibade said the occasion would also serve as a platform to unveil the Centre's aspirations for the future and its plans to expand its reach and impact across communities.
Reflecting on the milestone, Renew Mind Centre stated that the anniversary represents a celebration of resilience, community spirit and collective progress.
The organisation noted that its work over the past decade has focused on strengthening individuals and communities through programmes that promote mental wellbeing, personal development, social inclusion and sustainable community growth.
