Busayo Oluwole Oke, Member of the House of Representatives representing Ijesa North Federal Constituency, joined distinguished leaders across Nigeria today at the National Assembly to mark this year’s Democracy Day celebration in Abuja.
Held in the hallowed chambers of the legislature, the event honored the nation’s enduring journey since its return to civilian rule in 1999. Among those present were royal icon and cultural custodian His Imperial Majesty Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, the Ooni of Ife, and Rt. Hon. Benjamin Okezie Kalu, Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, both of whom lent gravitas to the occasion.
