Be’er Sheva, Israel – An Iranian missile landed in the southern Israeli city of Be’er Sheva late Monday night, as tensions between Iran and Israel continue to escalate in what is becoming one of the most intense cross-border confrontations in recent history.
According to Israeli defense officials, the missile struck an open area on the outskirts of Be’er Sheva, avoiding populated zones and resulting in no casualties or significant structural damage. However, the psychological impact has been profound, as residents scrambled for shelter following sirens that pierced the night.
The strike was part of a broader offensive dubbed “Operation True Promise III,” during which Iran launched over 350 ballistic missiles targeting major Israeli cities, including Tel Aviv, Haifa, Petah Tikva, and now Be’er Sheva.
