Reports reaching OrionTimes from Demsa, Adamawa State, indicate that Innocent Godiya, the administrator of the popular Facebook page Adamawa Gist, has been arrested under controversial circumstances.




According to sources, the arrest did not follow due legal process and is being described by many as an abduction allegedly ordered by the Demsa Local Government Chairman.


Report gathered indicted that Godiya was hurriedly taken before a court and subsequently remanded in prison without legal representation, raising questions about the integrity of the process.


The development has sparked outrage among residents, activists, and members of the online community, who argue that this is not only an assault on one individual but a dangerous precedent that threatens justice, fairness, and press freedom in Adamawa State.


Prominent media influencers and bloggers across the state have condemned the action, warning that silencing dissent through intimidation is a slippery slope towards authoritarianism.

Driver Chop Off Vehicle Inspection Officer’s Ear Over Car Particular

  A yet-to-identified Sienna car driver has reportedly bitten the ear of a Vehicle Inspection Officer (VIO) identified as Papu Prosper.
