The atmosphere was electrifying as the APC leadership in Oriade, under the guidance of Hon. Golo Ajewole, officially welcomed the new entrants into the party’s fold. Songs, cheers, and renewed chants of solidarity filled the air, marking what many described as a decisive turning point in the politics of Oriade.
This development did not come as a surprise to keen observers. Oke had earlier warned that he still had strong supporters who might make their stand known at the right time. Yesterday’s defection stands as a clear testament to that statement.
