Tinubu to Receive Panel Report on Plateau Killings

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is set to receive the report of the House of Representatives ad-hoc committee investigating the persistent killings in Plateau State.

The committee was mandated to examine the causes of the recurring violence, engage stakeholders, and recommend clear actions to end years of bloodshed that have devastated communities across the state.

Lawmakers say the report will pave the way for decisive intervention, with expectations that the Federal Government will adopt strong security and peace-building measures to restore stability.

Plateau has faced repeated attacks, displacement and loss of lives over the years, raising calls for justice, accountability and long-term solutions. Citizens and security observers are now watching closely to see how the presidency responds to the committee’s recommendations.
