Former France international Patrice Evra has sparked fresh controversy across African football after strongly condemning circulating claims that Confederation of African Football (CAF) stripped Senegal of their Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) title and awarded it to Morocco.

Reacting to the development, Evra did not hold back, describing the situation as a “disgrace” and a “scandal” that undermines the credibility of African football.
