BREAKING: From Campaign Donor to ‘Kill Me or Pay Me’: Man Reviews APC Investment Balance Sheet

In what appears to be Nigeria’s most dramatic “return on investment” complaint yet, a man on Thursday stormed the All Progressives Congress (APC) national secretariat in Abuja with a message as blunt as it was unsettling: reward me or kill me. The protest, captured in a now-viral video, shows the visibly distressed man holding a placard and demanding recognition for what he described as his personal sacrifices during the party’s 2023 campaign. According to him, loyalty was not just emotional, it was financial, physical, and, ultimately, total. In a country where political support often comes with expectations, some spoken, many implied the man’s outcry reads like a tragic audit of misplaced trust. His claim that he sold his house to fund campaign efforts has not been independently verified, but the symbolism is hard to ignore: a citizen liquidating stability in exchange for promised political dividends. Observers at the scene watched as the protester oscillated between anger and ...

... _I will declare a state of emergency on Osun Agric Sector, enhance food production and ensure urban renewal_

As part of his efforts to gather support for his aspirations, a frontline aspirant for the Osun governorship elections under the umbrella of the All Progressive Congress, APC and a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Kunle Rasheed Adegoke (K-RAD) over the weekend had a robust engagement with leaders of the party across Osogbo and Olorunda Local Governments just as he inaugurated campaign managers across the 332 wards of the state.

Commencing his consultation tour from his home front of Osogbo and Olorunda Local Governments, K-RAD appreciated leaders and stakeholders of the party in both LGAs for the trust reposed in him as an erudite son of the soil and a faithful party chieftain who has contributed his quota to the development and success of the party in Osun and the nation at large.

He revealed that his aspiration of governing Osun stems from his dream of seeing a more prosperous Osun where citizens will live in abundance through tapping into the inherent mineral and human resources the state is blessed with. He pledged his readiness to embark on an agric revolution which will enhance food production and security, collaborate with neighbouring states in creating a friendly producer (farmer) to consumer environment which will reduce cost as government would subsidize from the stage of cultivating, harvesting, sales and consumption.

He further revealed his intents for urban renewal and infrastructural development for the state adding that his plan is for Osun to move from being a civil servant state as it is called now to being an industrialized state. He stated that Osun is at the epicenter of the West, therefore the agriculture revolution is crucial to the food consumption of other states. He also revealed his plan for the creation of a food/agric hub in these neighbouring states for easy access of farm produce.

"I believe that our project is a divinely ordained project, we have a clear cut developmental agenda for the state which cuts across every strata of the state, Osun is blessed with ariable lands, we will make Osun the food basket of the nation while other programmes will be targeted at urban renewal and other people centric policies".

His well detailed plans were revealed that an interactive meeting with leaders of the party in Osogbo and Olorunda, Hon. Akintunde Adegboye a former deputy speaker of the Osun House of Assembly praised K-RAD for coming to the aide of the party through his legal expertise at all times. He added that K-RAD's legal brilliance was evident in the success of the party during the local government tussle with the state government, he acknowledged that without K-RAD's legal support, it would have been almost impossible for the duly elected local government chairmen and councillors to be reinstated. In the same vein, Hon. Adeoye Adelakun lauded K-RAD for the courage displayed in signifying interest in the Osun guber seat. Adelakun noted that since the state capital haven't produced a governor since the state's creation, 2026 is the town's brightest opportunity to achieve this. He added that the town parades one of the finest Senior Advocates of Nigeria whose contribution to Osogbo, Osun, Nigeria and the APC cannot be overemphasized.

At the APC Secretariat in Olorunda Local Government, K-RAD decried the level of corruption in government noting that despite the significant efforts of the Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu led federal government, corruption and bad governance by some state governments have hampered development in states like Osun. He pledged a total turnaround from the instituted corruption adding that if given the opportunity to serve, his policies, projects and programmes would be centered on people's needs after a thorough assessment.

Inaugurating his campaign managers across all wards in the state, K-RAD urged his coordinators across the 332 Wards in the state to shun campaigns of bitterness, violence and acrimony which is capable of polarizing the party and endangering the success of the APC at the August 8th, 2026 guber polls. He concluded by tasking the coordinators to commence Door-To-Door mobilization and sensitization for his guber aspirations with the conviction that the outcome of the party's primary elections would be favourable.

However, as a loyal party chieftain, K-RAD reiterated his resolve to work in synergy with any aspirant that might eventually emerge at the primaries of the party. This resolve underscores his loyalty to party supremacy and determination to oust the present administration which has been bedevilled by financial recklessness, gross maladministration, absolute disrespect for rule of law and bad governance.

K-RAD praised the leader of the APC in Osun, Alhaji Adegboyega Oyetola CON for standing by the party and providing quality leadership, adding that Oyetola's support for the party has given a new sense of hope and an assurance of victory in the 2026 elections. He lauded the minister for providing a level playing ground for all aspirants ahead of the party's primary noting that this gesture would enhance the party's chances of picking the best candidate ahead of the elections.

BREAKING: Esa-Oke Youths Reunite as Survivors, Caution Pelumi against revisionism

....we’re not your campaign slogan Once upon a glorious, chaotic 2017, practically every able-bodied youth in Esa-Oke held honorary title in the land: Personal Assistant to Barrister Pelumi Olajengbesi. No interviews. No pay. Just passion, blind loyalty, and the stamina to chase him from one campaign ground to the next like a political body double. From Comrade Mainframe to Comrade Swiss, from Yinka Oba to the humble football boys who carried cones like national flags, we were there. We were the movement. Until, of course. Now in 2025, Barrister Pelumi, clearly inspired by a Netflix political drama is on a media tour telling anyone who’ll listen that he "settled everyone who worked for him." Settled who, please? Maybe in his dreams or in the metaverse. In the real world, the story’s a bit different. Those of us from Obokun, who hustled day and night, got exactly zero: no thank you, no handshake. Take Sami, now a former Ward 7 councillor, no thanks from Pelumi. Folusho? Aregbe...

Assassination Attempt: Police can’t deny what’s on their desk, says Amotekun boss

The Corps Commander of the Osun Amotekun Corps , High Chief Dr Hon. Adekunle Isaac Omoyele , who is currently receiving treatment at an undisclosed hospital following an attempted assassination on his life on Monday, has strongly refuted the claims made by the Osun State Police Spokeperson regarding the incident. Reacting to the statement by the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), who claimed that investigations had not commenced because the Commander had not provided evidence of the attack, the Amotekun boss expressed deep disappointment, labeling the police response as insensitive and misleading. "It is shocking that a police spokesperson would say there is no evidence of an attack when the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Ota-Efun Division — the nearest jurisdiction to the incident — was immediately informed," the Commander said. "Officers from that division visited the scene the same night, assessed the damage, evacuated the vehicle, and advised me to seek ...
