BREAKING: From Campaign Donor to ‘Kill Me or Pay Me’: Man Reviews APC Investment Balance Sheet

In what appears to be Nigeria’s most dramatic “return on investment” complaint yet, a man on Thursday stormed the All Progressives Congress (APC) national secretariat in Abuja with a message as blunt as it was unsettling: reward me or kill me. The protest, captured in a now-viral video, shows the visibly distressed man holding a placard and demanding recognition for what he described as his personal sacrifices during the party’s 2023 campaign. According to him, loyalty was not just emotional, it was financial, physical, and, ultimately, total. In a country where political support often comes with expectations, some spoken, many implied the man’s outcry reads like a tragic audit of misplaced trust. His claim that he sold his house to fund campaign efforts has not been independently verified, but the symbolism is hard to ignore: a citizen liquidating stability in exchange for promised political dividends. Observers at the scene watched as the protester oscillated between anger and ...

Labour Party Petition Raises Security Alarm: Calls for Probe of Peter Obi, Ajaero, Ireti, Others Over “One Million March” Plot

Plans to violently overthrow Tinubu: LP demand arrest of Peter Obi, Com Joe Ajaero, Sen Ireti Kinjigbe and Sen Darlington Nwokocha,  NationNewsLead Verified Report – Source: The Nation

LETTER TO THE NATIONAL SECURITY ADVISER, FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF NIGERIA, AND THE HONOURABLE MINISTER OF THE FEDERAL CAPITAL TERRITORY, HIS EXCELLENCY CHIEF NYESOM WIKE

RE: PURPORTED “ONE MILLION MARCH RALLY” – ALLEGED PLOT TO UNDERMINE NATIONAL SECURITY AND SUBVERT DEMOCRATIC GOVERNANCE

URGENT CALL FOR INVESTIGATION AND PROACTIVE SECURITY MEASURES

Your Excellencies,

We write with a deep sense of concern and responsibility to alert your esteemed offices to a developing situation that poses a potential threat to national peace, democratic stability, and public safety in the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Credible intelligence gathered from multiple sources indicates that a group of individuals including Mr. Peter Gregory Obi, Comrade Joe Ajaero (President of the Nigeria Labour Congress), Senator Ireti Kinjigbe, and others are allegedly involved in organising an event dubbed the “One Million March Rally,” scheduled to hold on Wednesday, 30th July 2025, at the Labour Party National Secretariat.

This rally, according to our findings, may not be a conventional protest, but rather a potentially unlawful and strategically coordinated movement, with indications of an agenda aimed at inciting civil unrest, promoting mass disobedience, and possibly destabilising the current democratically elected government of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR.

It is particularly troubling that the leadership of the Labour Party has officially disclaimed any involvement or endorsement of the planned march. This raises further red flags as to the legitimacy, purpose, and organisers of the rally.

Reports also suggest the mobilisation of individuals from various states, including Anambra, Imo, and Abia, along with unverified intelligence regarding the movement and suspected stockpiling of materials that could be used to disrupt public peace. Notably, certain private residences and the NLC National Secretariat have been flagged as potential operational centres for this effort.

Your Excellencies, these developments, if unchecked, could precipitate violence, erode public confidence in democratic governance, and create unnecessary tension within the polity.

In view of the foregoing, we respectfully urge the following immediate actions:

1. Activate High-Level Security Monitoring: All national security agencies, including the DSS, Police, and Armed Forces, should be placed on alert to monitor, verify, and preempt any unlawful gatherings or actions that threaten national peace.

2. Initiate Investigations and Necessary Legal Action: Individuals reportedly involved in the planning of this event should be urgently investigated. Where evidence supports, appropriate legal steps including arrests or prosecutions should be undertaken in accordance with due process.

3. Conduct Targeted Searches: Security agencies should carry out lawful searches of locations suspected to harbour arms, disruptive materials, or logistics that could compromise public safety.

4. Restrict Movement in Sensitive Areas (If Required): In order to prevent escalation, especially in Abuja and other identified hotspots, temporary restrictions on gatherings and movement may be considered in line with security assessments.

5. Launch Public Information Campaigns: To counter misinformation and maintain public order, official communication channels should be used to inform citizens of the facts, reassure them of their safety, and discourage participation in any unlawful activity.

This is a time for vigilance, leadership, and swift, lawful action. The Federal Government must send a clear signal that acts of insurrection, threats to democracy, and reckless endangerment of national peace will not be tolerated under any guise.

We have absolute faith in your offices to act with firmness, fairness, and fidelity to the Constitution.

Respectfully,

Dr. Arabambi Abayomi (FBAU)

National Publicity Secretary,

Labour Party

29th July 2025

BREAKING: Esa-Oke Youths Reunite as Survivors, Caution Pelumi against revisionism

....we’re not your campaign slogan Once upon a glorious, chaotic 2017, practically every able-bodied youth in Esa-Oke held honorary title in the land: Personal Assistant to Barrister Pelumi Olajengbesi. No interviews. No pay. Just passion, blind loyalty, and the stamina to chase him from one campaign ground to the next like a political body double. From Comrade Mainframe to Comrade Swiss, from Yinka Oba to the humble football boys who carried cones like national flags, we were there. We were the movement. Until, of course. Now in 2025, Barrister Pelumi, clearly inspired by a Netflix political drama is on a media tour telling anyone who’ll listen that he "settled everyone who worked for him." Settled who, please? Maybe in his dreams or in the metaverse. In the real world, the story’s a bit different. Those of us from Obokun, who hustled day and night, got exactly zero: no thank you, no handshake. Take Sami, now a former Ward 7 councillor, no thanks from Pelumi. Folusho? Aregbe...

Assassination Attempt: Police can’t deny what’s on their desk, says Amotekun boss

The Corps Commander of the Osun Amotekun Corps , High Chief Dr Hon. Adekunle Isaac Omoyele , who is currently receiving treatment at an undisclosed hospital following an attempted assassination on his life on Monday, has strongly refuted the claims made by the Osun State Police Spokeperson regarding the incident. Reacting to the statement by the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), who claimed that investigations had not commenced because the Commander had not provided evidence of the attack, the Amotekun boss expressed deep disappointment, labeling the police response as insensitive and misleading. "It is shocking that a police spokesperson would say there is no evidence of an attack when the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Ota-Efun Division — the nearest jurisdiction to the incident — was immediately informed," the Commander said. "Officers from that division visited the scene the same night, assessed the damage, evacuated the vehicle, and advised me to seek ...

I Will Pay $10M If Nnamdi Kanu Curtail Insecurity, Ezendigbo Challenge FG, S' East Politicians

The Founder of the Better Nigeria For Better People, Chief. CBN Onwuasoanya Ezendigbo, has lambasted the former Governor of Anambra State and the Presidential candidate in the last general elections under the Labour Party, Peter Obi, for facilitating efforts towards Nnamdi Kanu's release from detention. Ezendigbo, in a statement released on Thursday said that, Nnamdi Kanu lack power to stop insecurity in Southeast Nigeria. According to the former Presidential Aspirant, "Let's have a road map for a 2-month cease-fire agreement to demonstrate that to release the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) would stop insecurity. He's just a political football fan for politicians, he said." "I am challenging both the federal government and Southeast politicians with $10M (Ten Million Dollars), they should tell Nnamdi Kanu if there will be no sit-at-home, no kidnapping in the region, that will give guarantee that he has control over insecurity in the southea...
