Suspected Thief Nabbed Near Alahusa Mosque, Ogo-Oluwa, Osogbo

 




In the early hours of Friday morning, tension gripped Ogo-Oluwa as a suspected member of a fraternity was apprehended around Alahusa Mosque.




The incident, which occu

rred at about 1:00 a.m., drew the attention of residents after the suspect was reportedly caught using strange incantations to command and confuse a local street guard.


According to eyewitnesses, the man was overheard chanting in hunter’s slang while allegedly attempting to exercise mystical influence over those nearby. Items recovered from him include a car key, a master key, and a magnet believed to be used to attract mobile phones.


Community members expressed relief over his arrest, describing the situation as a reminder of the need for vigilance, particularly during night hours.


"The suspect will be transferred to the appropriate security operatives for further investigation and prosecution.”
