My message is particularly for those who believe that the business of Nigeria lies in the hands of a powerful few. Perhaps they are influenced by what the German sociologist Robert Michels described as the "Iron Law of Oligarchy" ,the tendency for power to concentrate in the hands of a small elite. Obokun LCDA Honors Dr. Toks Owoeye: Celebrating a Torchbearer of Humanity

 


The Obokun Local Council Development Area (LCDA) has joined well-meaning Nigerians in celebrating an exceptional statesman, philanthropist, and community builder, Dr. Toks Owoeye, on the occasion of his birthday.


In a heartfelt message issued by Hon. Owoeye Samuel Abiodun (OSA), the Council expressed profound admiration for Dr. Owoeye’s life of impact, describing him as “a shining light in our generation whose wisdom, humility, and compassion continue to shape lives.”
