The Obokun Local Council Development Area (LCDA) has joined well-meaning Nigerians in celebrating an exceptional statesman, philanthropist, and community builder, Dr. Toks Owoeye, on the occasion of his birthday.
In a heartfelt message issued by Hon. Owoeye Samuel Abiodun (OSA), the Council expressed profound admiration for Dr. Owoeye’s life of impact, describing him as “a shining light in our generation whose wisdom, humility, and compassion continue to shape lives.”
According to OSA, Dr. Owoeye’s unwavering commitment to humanitarian service has transformed communities and uplifted countless families. His philanthropy, mentorship, and leadership, he said, remain invaluable contributions to the growth and development of Obokun and Nigeria at large.
“Your contribution to our generation has saved lives, your philanthropic heart has lifted communities, and your selfless mentorship has built leaders,” the message read.
Hon. Owoeye lauded Dr. Owoeye's integrity, excellence, and vision for a better society, attributes he described as rare in today’s world. He also offered prayers for continued strength, long life, and divine guidance for the celebrant.
The entire Obokun LCDA and the Next Level Progressive Movement joined in the celebration, hailing Dr. Owoeye as a “rare gem whose impact continues to multiply across generations.”
