Former U.S. President Donald J. Trump has announced what he described as one of the most daring search-and-rescue operations in American military history, claiming that a U.S. officer trapped deep within Iranian territory has been successfully rescued.



In a strongly worded statement, Trump said the operation involved a highly respected colonel who had been stranded behind enemy lines in the mountainous regions of Iran. According to him, the officer had been under constant threat, with enemy forces reportedly closing in.

Trump revealed that the U.S. military carried out a coordinated rescue mission involving multiple aircraft equipped with advanced weaponry. He emphasized that the mission was executed with precision, ensuring the officer was retrieved safely despite sustaining some injuries.

The former president further claimed that this operation followed the successful rescue of another American pilot just a day earlier. He noted that the earlier mission had been kept confidential to avoid jeopardizing the second operation.
