BREAKING: Iyabo Obasanjo Withdraws from Ogun 2027 Governorship Race

 

Iyabo Obasanjo, daughter of former President Olusegun Obasanjo, has suspended her ambition to contest the 2027 Ogun State governorship election.

In a statement released on Monday, she confirmed her decision to step down from the race.



She explained that her withdrawal was influenced by the endorsement of Senator Solomon Adeola as the consensus candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the forthcoming election.
