Former presidential aspirant and founder of Better Nigeria for Better People, Chief CBN Onwuasoanya Ezendigbo, has issued a stark warning about the state of politics in Nigeria.
According to him, the current trend where those in power use every possible means to suppress opposition parties is a dangerous path that could lead the nation to political oblivion.
“History has shown that leaders who attempt to stifle opposition rarely end well,” CBN Ezendigbo said. “Democracy thrives when all parties can operate freely without intimidation or fear.”
As Nigeria gears up for the 2027 elections, CBN Ezendigbo stresses that the political landscape must ensure fairness and equal opportunity for all parties, warning that ignoring these principles could undermine the nation’s democratic future.
