Former U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has cautioned against any move to withdraw the United States from NATO, highlighting the alliance’s historic importance.
“Seventy-seven years ago, America and our allies came together to form NATO, an alliance rooted in peace and democracy,” Pelosi said.
