The Corps Commander of the Osun Amotekun Corps, High Chief Dr. Hon. Adekunle Isaac Omoyele, has extended warm congratulations to the newly inaugurated leadership of the Osun Online Publishers Association (OOPA), led by Comrade Abioye Tosin Lawrence, on their assumption of office.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, Dr. Omoyele described the emergence of the new executive as a welcome development, expressing strong confidence in their ability to uphold the ideals of the association and strengthen its role in the dissemination of credible information across Osun State and beyond.
He further commended the immediate past chairman, Mukhtar Ajelogbon, for his unwavering support and cooperation with the Amotekun Corps during his tenure, noting that the collaboration between the association and the security outfit played a vital role in promoting the activities and achievements of the Corps.
The Corps Commander charged the new leadership to build on the solid foundation laid by their predecessors, urging them to sustain and deepen support for the Amotekun Corps by leveraging their platforms to amplify the Corps’ efforts, successes, and impact in maintaining peace and security across the state.
Dr. Omoyele also applauded members of the association for their steadfast commitment to journalistic ethics, professionalism, and responsible reporting, which he described as essential pillars for societal development and democratic growth.
He concluded by wishing the new leadership a successful and impactful tenure, expressing optimism that their administration would foster unity, progress, and excellence within the association.
