The fate of the 2025 Ballon d’Or winner has now been sealed as the voting period officially closed this week. The football world will have to wait until September 22 to discover who will lift the game’s most coveted individual prize at the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris.
This year’s race has been one of the most hotly contested in recent memory, featuring a blend of established stars and rising prodigies. Among the frontrunners are Paris Saint-Germain duo Ousmane Dembélé and Gianluigi Donnarumma, whose Champions League heroics strengthened their cases.
