As political permutations begin ahead of the 2027 general elections, concerned stakeholders from Ifelodun, Boripe, and Odo-Otin Federal Constituency, popularly known as IBO Federal Constituency, have called for equity, justice, and balance in the Osun Central Senatorial District ticket of the All Progressives Congress, APC. Findings reveal that since the return to democracy in 1999, Osogbo Federal Constituency has produced the late Senator Bayo Salami and the current APC National Secretary, Senator Dr. Ajibola Basiru. Ila Federal Constituency produced Senator Sola Adeyeye, who served for eight years, and currently has Senator Olubiyi Ajagunla.
