Osun 2026: APC Blasts Reps Member Salam, Defends Tinubu, AMBO, Oke, Labels Criticism ‘Reckless and Misleading’

Oriontimes Political Desk| April 16, 2026  The Osun State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has launched a scathing attack on a member of the House of Representatives, Bamidele Salam, describing his recent comments against President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, governorship candidate Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO), and campaign Director-General Wole Oke as “uncharitable, ill-informed and misleading.” In a press statement issued on April 16, 2026, the party accused Salam, who represents Ede-North/Ede-South, Egbedore, and Ejigbo Federal Constituency, of acting out of political frustration and desperation ahead of the forthcoming Osun governorship election. Media Workshop: Osun Online Publishers Plans Ads Codes Placing, SEO, Google Analytics Training For Members

   The Osun Online Publishers Association (OOPA) set to hold Digital Media Training (#OOPADT 1.0) for members on Thursday, as announced in a statement by the Secretary, Adekale Babatunde, the association's seminar and training committee. Babatunde disclosed that, the training will  take place at Plot 42, Alekuwodo Road, Beside Islahudeen Central Mosque, Alekuwodo, Osogbo Osun state. The tech expert said the comprehensive training is designed to equip Online Publishers with the skills needed to pull through in the realm of digital world . Barring that, "The training will cover topics, including Media Entrepreneur, WordPress designing, Search Engine Optimization, Placing ad codes on WordPress Websites and how to set up Google Analytics & Google News. NSE President Inspects Osun's Infrastructure Projects, Commends Governor Adeleke

The President of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), Engr. Margaret Aina Oguntala (FNSE), has praised Osun State Governor, Sen. Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke, for utilizing local engineers to manage the state's massive infrastructure projects. Th project which is part of Governor Adeleke’s Multi Billion Naira infrastructure plan to open Osun for investment and improve the economy of the state.
